Overcoming bulimia is a difficult but exciting journey... A journey that I took 5 years ago - and have never looked back!
I first experimented with throwing up my food when I was just a little kid -only 8 years old! This was just the start of a 12 year battle with bulimia. A battle that saw me falling as low as stealing food, lying and hating myself - more and more.
At the age of 20 I was close to death... Overcoming bulimia was more urgent than ever... So I embarked on my journey of discovery - learning whatever I could about my illness, why I had it and how I could break free from it...
Fast forward one year, it was my graduation from university... I was ecstatic - not because I was graduating - but because I was healthy, happy and bulimia free!
Here are some of the bulimia products that I recommend if you want to beat bulimia...
Breaking Free From Emotional Eating by Geenen Roth
I read this book while on holiday in a little island called Niue. It was just brilliant (both the holiday and the book!) Geenen Roth has a way of explaining things that really hits home...
A must read for anybody who is wanting to learn how to stop emotional binge eating. Geenen has the same philosophy as me on the dangers of dieting - so this is a book I feel completely comfortable recommending!

Overcoming Bulimia: Your comprehensive, Step-By-Step Guide to Recovery
This workbook book teaches you different exercises to help break the cycle of bulimia. It is written in a little bit of an impersonal way, but besides this it has good information.
This book breaks down the bulimia recovery process into small manageable pieces... So makes the thought of recovering less overwhelming.
Bulimics on Bulimia
"Bulimics on Bulimia" is written by people who are still struggling with their illness.
It's an honest account of what's going on in their lives - which I am sure you'll be able to relate to. Reading this book will give you many of those "OMG - I know exactly what you mean" moments!
It'll help you realize that your not alone in this battle - there are people fighting along side you...
Goodbye Ed, Hello Me
"Goodbye Ed, Hello me" inspires you not to give up hope - It teaches you that there is an amazing life waiting for you when you beat bulimia...
Jenni doesn't preach - but offers an insight to what helped her beat anorexia and bulimia - and what could help you too.
This book is definitely worth reading :)
Mom, Please help : Anorexia and Bulimia 'Positive Energy treatment'
This e-book has got some really great information on it. I especially like it's section on neural pathways and rewiring the brain from a bulimic brain to a non-bulimic brain. I dedicated a full page review to this book, so feel free to check it out.
Many of the lessons and exercises that Karen Phillips will teach you are what I used to beat bulimia.
Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program That Works
This book is an excellent resource for all bulimics in recovery... BUT, I don't think it's an 'early-recovery' book as the ideas in it may be too difficult...
However... Once you have managed to end the binge and purge cycle for a number of months, I'd say this is a must read!
I've read it myself and despite my years of knowledge and experience on the subject - I learnt a lot!
Overcoming bulimia is possible - I did it and I know that you can too. We are no different!
I hope that these products help you on your journey.
