Not sure how to do this :/

by Hannah
(UK)

I've tried countless times to sort this on my own and I can't see me beating it without the help of a specialist. I'm terrified about the first step of contacting the GP.

Do I phone the Doctors or visit the surgery?
Will I be required actually to say I need the appointment in order to discuss bulimia? Or is it just a case of booking an appointment without giving the reason? (I'm 17 and have never actually organised visiting the Doctors or anything before!)

Thanks for reading x

Hi Hannah :)

If you give your doctors a buzz and ask for an appointment - the chances are they won't ask... and if they do... Just say it's a private matter - and they will leave it at that.

All the best :)
