Are u supposed to feel better when ur own mom calls u a fat ass?

by Rach

People always joke around, and I can understand that. But when ur mom calls u a fat ass how are u supposed to feel?

Wel got starters it just makes me not want to eat that much more. It's so frustrating to hear those words out of her mouth. It just makes me not want to tell her thy much more

What's the point if telling her? So she could yell at me? No thank you. Its just so hard for her not to unjust understand what I'm feeling

talking to your mom
by: Shaye

Hi Rach,

That's not acceptable that your mom calls you that - and you need to tell her. Let her know how it makes you feel. If she can't understand that it's not right - then she has a lot to learn about how to treat people...

If she doesn't understand, then you need to somehow find it in you to accept that although she is your mother, and you love her, her negative comments are not worthy of your ears... She is wrong.

Do you have a school counselor that you could talk to? I feel like at such a young age, it would really help you if you could find somebody older who you trust to open up to.

Love

I think I know someone to tell
by: Rach

Shay,

I thinks I have someone to tell. She's my LAL teacher and she's the sweetest person I've ever met in my life. I would lOve to tell her all of my Problems but she's the type of person who worries and worries and worries about everyone and everything

Both her sister have cancer. So I'm supposed to tell her I'm bulimic now too? How cOuld I do that to her? She has so much on her plate as is.

As a matter of fact how do I tell any adult about it? I don't want to add to their streess. I would feel so bad.
