How Junk Food Can Actually PREVENT Binge Urges!

My most sought after 'junk food' was chocolate...

And, guess what?

In my recovery, I had chocolate every single day!

I simply planned it into my structured eating...

Every night, after dinner, I had 1/2 a bar of dairy milk chocolate...

This was my way of telling myself that I was allowed to eat all types of foods... And, by doing this, junk food - even chocolate - gradually lost it's magnetic pull...

In fact, as the years go on, I am realizing more and more, that I don't even like to eat that much chocolate. I enjoy it from time to time - but that's enough. The reason I wanted it so badly when I was bulimic - was because I wasn't 'allowed' it.

And, oddly enough... Not being 'allowed' chocolate always led to massive chocolate binges!

Bulimia makes life so complicated...

I want chocolate... But I'm not allowed it... I won't have it... If I have it, I'll have to have it all... I've had it all... Sh*t... I'm disgusting... I'm a failure... I'm going to throw up...

How different would your life be if it was as simple as...

I want chocolate. Okay, have some.

And, I promise you.... It can be that simple! You can be free from the complications of bulimia! In fact...

It's just a matter of putting one foot in front of the other... If you do this, you can't help but get to where you want to go.

 

Your Challenge Over The Next Two Weeks...

If you haven't done it already... Start taking action on structured eating.

Then, add 1-2 'treat' foods into your daily eating plan...

It could be some chocolate after dinner... Or a cup of horlicks and 2 biscuits for afternoon tea... It's up to you.

Remind yourself that you are allowed to eat all types of food... And, tomorrow will be no different... This will help to take the 'urgency' out of your binge urges.
